Deeply Rooted Peaceful Connections

Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
"Deeply Rooted Peaceful Connections" is a painting that highlights the golden word Peace in 3 languages. The word Shalom (Peace in Hebrew) sits beneath a Synagogue inspired by the Doh Street Synagogue. The word shlamaa (Peace in Aramaic) sits below a church inspired by the Basilica at Eztergom. The word Salam (Peace in Arabic) sits below a masjid inspired by Ali Pasha's Masjid in Sarajevo. These buildings built for worshiping the same higher power have been painted in the same color, and all connected along the same street. It is a reminder of neighborliness, acceptance and a value for the differences and a recognition of the similarities. This original painting was purchased by a professor who teaches at Hamline University.

Corey, your art is so very beautiful and distinctive.I had to check out what this is painted in as it has a look and feeling of "silk" about it! Love your peaceful and colourful style! L/F

A beautiful artistic work Corey with such a wonderful spiritual desire for peace. Yes Peace became a word that can be achieved ONLY if there would be a piece between religions.... We are close or already within Mashiah's days.. Your work is EXCELLENT... very much INSPIRING!! L/F
