Title
Hokusai's Nebula
Artist
Corey Habbas
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Starthmore Acrylic Paper 400 Series
Description
As humans, our existence impacts the environment in profound ways. The way humans also limit and attempt to control each others resources can lead to trauma and devastation. It can thwart entire populations. Overall, there are so many constraints that we live within environmentally such as overall limitations in resources, weather and climate changes. Here, Katsushika Hokusais Wave at Kanagawa is seen above the earth instead of within it. It is a colorful Nebula that symbolizes every environmental dependency that constrains us.

I also love this piece. It's the elements of beauty of the water at night but the "fingers" are the fear of the waves fury. Very thought provoking.
